Chthonopolis is an exhibition that explores the subterranean post-singularity city. Called ZeroSix and located on the Gold Mine peninsula in the Thames Estuary, it attempts to encourage people to 'remember utopia' by inverting the traditional hierarchical relationships of vertical space. The brainchild of Nic Clear, Head of Architecture & Landscape at the University of Greenwich and Hyun Jun Park, the project's labyrinth spaces are huge Memory Palaces with cognition and perception at the heart of the design.
