A conversation between artist Justin Mortimer and artist/musician, Daniel P. Carter. The event marks the close of Justin Mortimer / While the Worst, an exhibition showcasing a selection of collages and a major new painting by the artist.
Hosted by Jonathan Gales, creative director and co-founder of Factory Fifteen, the talk will shed light on both artists' working practice and explore the role of the artist in contemporary society.

Justin Mortimer is an acclaimed British painter, recognised for his paintings of well known high society including Harold Pinter, Sir Steve Redgrave and Queen Elizabeth II. He won the National Gallery's BP Portrait Award in 1991. His solo show, It Is Here will be exhibited at Parafin gallery from 30 March until 20 May 2017.
Daniel P. Carter is a British artist, musician and radio DJ. He is currently the singer and guitarist for hardcore punk band Hexes, bassist for A, and guitarist for metal group Krokodil and alternative rock band Bloodhound Gang. Daniel is also the host of BBC Radio 1's Rock Show.
