A Measure of Disruption explores the nature of cause and effect. Utilizing the phenomenon of video feedback as a blank canvas, participants are encouraged to disrupt the balance to create visual effects. When an object is introduced between the camera and the display the feedback loop is interrupted, producing a disturbance that ripples through the system. The project enacts a dialogue between the physical and digital worlds. This installation is free and will be running in our gallery space from 11th May until 1 June. Open weekdays, 09:00-17:30.
